- 01If the "Disconnected" icon appears on the device thumbnail in CONNECTPlayer Manager, the device is currently not connected to the server. Please follow these steps to troubleshoot and restore the connection: 1. Basic Status Check: Power Status: Ensure the ACT LED on the front of the device is solid red. Network Cable: Ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected. Network LED: Ensure the network LED on the front of the device is solid green. (If it is blinking, the connection may be unstable or abnormal.) 2. Network Environment Check: Restart your network equipment (router or switch) by turning it off for 10 seconds and then turning it back on. Try plugging the Ethernet cable into a different port on your router/switch to rule out a faulty port. 3. Network Security & Settings Check: Check if any communication ports (e.g., 80, 443) are blocked by your company’s firewall or security policies. Consult your network administrator to ensure the necessary domains or ports for CONNECTPlayer Manager are allowed (whitelisted).

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot and restore the connection: 1. Basic Status Check: Power Status: Ensure the Indicator LED on the front of the stick is solid blue. WiFi Signal: Ensure the stick is within an appropriate range of the WiFi router. A weak signal may cause the connection to drop. 2. Network Environment Check: Restart your wireless router by turning it off for 10 seconds and then turning it back on. Verify that the WiFi password or security settings have not been changed. Check your router settings to ensure the device's MAC address is not blocked (blacklisted). 3. Network Security & Settings Check: Check if any communication ports (e.g., 80, 443) are blocked by your company’s firewall or security policies. Consult your network administrator to ensure the necessary domains or ports for CONNECTPlayer Manager are allowed (whitelisted).
- 03If this error appears while adding a device in the Device Registration screen as shown in the image below, it means the device is already registered to a record in CONNECTPlayer Manager. Since a device can only be registered once in CONNECTPlayer Manager, you must delete the existing registration record before attempting to add it again.
- 04To use WiFi on these models, you must use a verified USB WiFi adapter that supports "Plug and play" in an Android environment without requiring separate driver installations. Since the Android OS only supports specific chipsets, it is crucial to verify the 'chipset model name' before purchasing an adapter. Recommended Chipsets for Android (USB type): MediaTek MT7662 – Recommended for best compatibility. RTL8821CU / RTL8811CU RTL8812AU RTL8851BU Notes: If you use a chipset not on this list, it may not be recognized properly in Android. Please ensure the product is equipped with one of the chipsets listed above before making your purchase.
- 05To use a wired LAN on the [SX5] model, it is important to select a verified USB Ethernet adapter that supports "Plug and play" without requiring separate driver installations in an Android environment. When purchasing an adapter, please check the product specifications to ensure it is equipped with one of the chipsets listed below. These chipsets are known for having the best compatibility with Android. Recommended Chipsets for Android (USB Ethernet Adapter): ASIX AX88179 / AX88179A / AX88179B series Realtek RTL8153 series [Purchasing Tips] Check the Chipset: Please check the product specification area to see if the chipset models mentioned above are listed. Plug & Play Support: It is safe to choose products that explicitly state "Android support" or "Driver-free" in the product description. Notes: On some Android devices, certain drivers may be restricted due to system optimization. After connecting, please check the 'Settings > Network' menu on your device to ensure that Ethernet is properly activated.
- 06It is recommended to use an HDMI 2.0 or higher cable for smooth playback of 4K content. 4K video playback (4K 60Hz): An HDMI 2.0 cable (labeled "Premium High Speed") is sufficient to display 4K digital signage content stably. [Purchasing Tips] Please check for the "Premium High Speed (HDMI 2.0)" label on the packaging. While HDMI 2.0 is sufficient for high-quality video and advertisement playback, opting for an HDMI 2.1 cable is also a good choice if you want to ensure broader future compatibility.
- 07Yes, CONNECTPlayer Manager allows you to register multiple users and set permissions in detail according to their roles. The details for each permission level are as follows: User: Can manage devices and content assigned to their group. Admin: Includes all 'User' permissions and can manage other users within the same group. Super Admin: Has full access to the entire system. Can create or delete groups. Can manage all users, devices, and content across all groups.

- 09No, it will continue to play normally. CONNECTPlayer Manager supports a local caching method, meaning content is stored directly on the device. Once downloaded, your content will play without interruption according to the schedule, even if the network connection is temporarily lost. Note: Once the network connection is restored, the device will automatically synchronize with the server to reflect any new schedules or content updates.
- 10Yes, this is a normal occurrence, and there is no cause for concern. Our products are designed with high-thermal-conductivity aluminum cases that act as heatsinks, efficiently dissipating heat from the inside to the outside. When the case feels hot, it indicates that the heat is being effectively transferred away from the internal components. This cooling design ensures that the internal board consistently maintains a stable, normal operating temperature of around 50°C.
